If you’ve been thinking of becoming a foster carer, then our Foster Carer Information Day will help answer any questions that you have. Be it how to become a foster carer, or even why you should foster in the first place.

We’re holding our Information Day at our office in Bromley on Friday 6th December between 10am-3pm. You’ll be able to meet our foster carers and the OwnLife Fostering team. We’ll have lots of resources on hand for you to look at and information to take away with you. So, if you’ve been thinking about a career as a foster carer, come and see us at Premier House, 1 Cobden Court, Wimpole Close, Bromley.

Child online safety toolkit

In this digital age it’s so important to keep up to speed with the latest social platforms and being online savvy with your children. At our Information Day we will also have a toolkit available that a foster parent can use with children in their care to help them keep safe online. It tells children where they can access advice and guidance, and where to go for help if they ever feel anxious or threatened online or in a relationship.

We also have some check points to think about before allowing a child to use a social platform.
